Hey lovely people,
as you can guess from the title, I've recently been to Milan for one of my typical concert-weirdo-adventures ;)
This was DAUGHTRY's turn!
I won't bother you telling you who they are because I honestly hope that you know them already and if you don't, well.. you can count on Google to solve the problem.
Me and my friend Giulia (for those of you who were at the gig you'll know her as the 11am girl lol) weren't seeing each other for almost a year so we decided to meet up pretty early at the venue. That was the perfect way to catch up between us and be front row at the gig, win-win.
We spent the day chilling in the sun, eating ice cream and meeting new cool friends that turned up at venue in the early afternoon to queue for the concert too.
We also had the chance to meet and chat with some of the band members, a special shout out definitely has to go to Elvio & Robin. They are the sweetest! Crazy, funny, talented lads!
Now you're probably wondering.. what about the actual gig?
The concert was just a-freaking-mazing!
This was the first time I was seeing Daughtry live so I had no idea what to expect but they totally blew my away. The album version of the songs and most of the videos you find on-line don't give them justice, they are so so so much better!
I guess the fact that I'm trying to figure out how to go to another show of their European tour says it all. (It would have been easier if they just packed me inside one of their suitcases, I'm quiet tiny after all ;) JK!)
They played most of my favorite songs, except for "Broken Arrows" & "I'll Fight" so I can't complaint about the setlist either.
